The best fishing trip!
OMG! I went fishing last summer, and this book reminded me of it! So we were on Long Island ( Where I live) and my sister, dad, my dad's friend and I went fishing one day. My dad caught a couple fish before I did. The girl next to me just caught and sand shark. That is a shark with no teeth...We had about 2 spots left and I was losing hope. All of a sudden my sister can't pull up her line. My dad said it was just another line, but all of the other lines on the boat were up. I said let me take it. It was getting really hard to pull! OMG!!! I see a figure coming out of the water! The crew ran over to the people I was with with a big net. "It's a BLUE SHARK! A BLUE SHARK!" The crew starts screaming! I was kinda bummed later because the shark snapped the line... But the fact that I caught a shark makes me so happy!

BIG FISH!!!!!
I went down to Tift Nature Persurve by the sueige. I was useing minos. I think I caught a Red horse. It was 18 inches!!!

Fishing tales
One day, while I was playing with my cat Conner, my dad came in my bedroom. My dad said, "Do you want to go fishing?" I said, "sure?!?!" So, when we got there, it was closed. So, we went to another place but it was too much. When we got home, we ate some tuna fish sandwiches for lunch and we fell asleep and didn't wake up till 9:00 at night and ate dinner then went back to sleep.

dear readers, a long, long, long drive pays off. we where trolling with our boat and we decided to start going in.I started reeling in my line when my line jerked."seaweed" I thought. I kept on reeling in when my line jerked again! Then my line started going this way and that!It was surely a fish."I got one!" I shouted. This guy was a fighter. I almost got pulled out of the boat! Finally,the fish got yanked into the boat he was over 2 feet!That was the only catch of the day.(And he was yummy!)

One day I was fishing at a pond.it took about 10 minutes until a fish bit the line. It was a catfish and I was using a hot dog. It was about two or three pounds. You think that's small but it was big. The cat fish gave me a cramp. And another day I almost caught a striped bass but it got away that time. I was using artificial bait. The striped bass was bigger than the catfish I caught earlier. Two days ago I was fishing in the really deep end and every time I put it in the same spot something ate the bait that happened two or three times. After that, my bait was gone.
