7pounder at lesser slave lake

OK, I was in a boat at Lesser Slave Lake,AB Canada. My line was in the water. Then,a big tug and I start reeling in. All of a sudden, a 2-footer northern pike jumps out of the water and tries to pull me down to the bottom. After two minutes of a fight, he's up. We weighed him and it was 7 pounds(LBS.)! Want to know where? It's by the bay at canyon creek. Caught with a bottom bouncer, spinner and with a yellow, salty gulp jig.

I never thought I'd catch a fish.

It was a very nice day outside for us campers to go fishing. The first day I did not catch one fish. The bait we were using was bread. I waited and waited, and still nothing. So I left that day without catching a fish. Then well in to the second day, we used worms and it took me about 30 minutes to catch one fish. After that, just about every 5 seconds I was catching fish after fish! Every since then, I always get the fish and the fishing award. I have no clue why. Also every since I started fishing at camp I have just love to fish for fun not to eat.

Fishing

I went fishing with my grandpa last week at our friends pond and I caught a 16 inch big mouth bass. Thats the biggest bass I have ever caught and I caught it with my sponge-bob bobber and a worm. I didn't even have a rubber worm or a lure. My grandpa is having it mounted for me so I can hang it on my wall. We had lots of fun. And we also caught 16 bluegill and 2 little bass.
